MultiVendor handles that foundation for you. Your online store or marketplace is served from a global edge network, images are resized automatically, and every page — including your own custom domain — is served over HTTPS with certificates we issue and renew automatically. You don't have to configure servers, buy certificates or patch software.

Behind the scenes, each marketplace's data is isolated and access-checked on the server, with automated tests that check one marketplace can never see another's data. Paid files stay private, uploads are checked by their actual content, and card details are handled by Stripe or PayPal, never stored by us. And because it's your business, your data is exportable and a missed payment never deletes it.

HTTPS and domains you can trust

Every page is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, including custom domains. When you connect your own domain, we verify it and issue and renew the certificate automatically, so you never see an expired-certificate warning. To protect buyers, look-alike or phishing-style subdomain names, such as names imitating payment or login pages, are blocked and flagged.

Strong sign-in and bot protection

Accounts are protected at the front door. Owners who use a password can add two-step verification with an authenticator app, so a stolen password alone can't get in. Passwords that have appeared in known data breaches are refused, and an invisible bot check turns away automated sign-ups, sign-in attempts and spam — with no puzzles for real people.

Is my store served over HTTPS?+

Yes. Every page is served over HTTPS, including your free subdomain and any custom domain you connect. Certificates are issued and renewed automatically.

Does MultiVendor store credit card numbers?+

No. Card data is handled by Stripe or PayPal through each seller's own account and is never stored by MultiVendor.

Can another marketplace see my data?+

No. Each marketplace's data is isolated and access-checked on the server, with automated tests that check one marketplace can never see another's data.

How are my digital files protected?+

Main files are kept private and are never public. You can add public previews, and buyers who pay get private download links; each download uses a secure link that expires within minutes, and refunds remove access.

What uploads are allowed?+

Uploads are checked by their actual content. Common documents, archives, video, audio and image formats are accepted; executables and scripts are refused.

How do people sign in?+

With one-click email sign-in links or Google sign-in. Passwords, where used, are stored with strong one-way hashing. Apple and Facebook sign-in are coming.

Is two-step verification available?+

Yes. If you sign in with a password, turn on two-step verification under Account security and use any authenticator app. You also get backup codes in case you lose your phone. Passkeys are planned.

What happens to my data if I miss a payment?+

Your business isn't deleted. Your data stays safe and exportable, and you can bring your plan up to date to continue.
