Affiliate marketing lets you earn a commission by recommending products that someone else sells and ships. A buyer clicks your link, buys from the merchant, and the affiliate program pays you under its own terms. There is no stock to buy, no parcels to pack and no customer payments to handle, which makes it one of the simplest ways to start selling online.

MultiVendor builds affiliate marketing right into your online store or marketplace. Choose a pre-connected program such as Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network, Awin or Impact.com, paste your own affiliate ID once, and add the products you recommend. Your affiliate links are built automatically and go straight to the merchant, with no redirect in between.

Every affiliate listing is honest about who sells and ships it, and shows a disclosure next to the buy button. Clicks are counted so you can see which recommendations people care about. You can run a store that is entirely affiliate products, or mix affiliate listings with your own merchandise, digital downloads, courses and events.

How it works

  1. 1

    Join an affiliate program

Sign up with the program you want to use, such as Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network, Awin or Impact.com, and get your own affiliate ID from them.

  2. 2

    Paste your affiliate ID

In MultiVendor, choose the program and paste your ID. You do this once; every link you add for that program is built with it automatically.

  3. 3

    Add the products you recommend

Add product links to your store or marketplace with your own title, description and category, so each listing fits your brand and your audience.

  4. 4

    Share, track clicks and earn

Share your listings and see how many clicks each one gets. When buyers purchase from the merchant, the program pays your commission under its own terms.

Everything included

Pre-connected affiliate programs

Available

MultiVendor knows how each supported program builds its links, so you don't have to. Pick a program, paste your ID, and add products. Your links always use your own ID, and commissions go to your own affiliate account.

  • Amazon Associates
  • eBay Partner Network
  • Awin
  • Impact.com
  • Booking.com (beta)
  • Rakuten (beta)
  • Digistore24 (courses, e-books, digital products)

Search catalogs with Product integrations

Available

Some programs let you search their catalog directly through an official API using your own account. Connect it under Products → Integrations → Affiliate, search, tick the products you want and import them as drafts with your tracked links, images, prices and the right attribution and disclosure.

  • Envato Market: website themes, graphics, video and audio templates (your Envato token + Impact link)
  • Viator: tours, classes, workshops and experiences (your Viator affiliate API key)
  • Amazon Creators API: once your Associates account qualifies (10 sales in 30 days) — coming
  • eBay Browse API: awaiting eBay partner approval for MultiVendor — coming
  • Each marketplace seller can connect their own affiliate accounts

How affiliate listings work

Available

An affiliate listing looks and feels like any other product in your store, with your own words and category. The difference is the buy button: it takes the buyer directly to the merchant's page using your affiliate link. The merchant handles payment, shipping and returns, and the program tracks the sale.

  • Your own title, description and category for each listing
  • Links go straight to the merchant, with no redirect
  • The listing says who sells and ships the item
  • The merchant handles payment, shipping and returns
  • No stock, packing or shipping for you
  • Mix affiliate listings with your own products

Honest, clear disclosures

Available

Trust is the foundation of affiliate marketing. MultiVendor shows a disclosure next to every affiliate button, so buyers always know when a link may earn you a commission. Affiliate listings also say who sells and ships the product, so nobody confuses them with items you ship yourself.

  • A disclosure next to every affiliate button
  • Clear "sold and shipped by" information
  • Helps you follow program rules and disclosure guidelines
  • Builds long-term trust with your audience

Click counts you can act on

Available

Every click on an affiliate button is counted, so you can see which products and categories your visitors care about. Use that to decide what to feature, what to write about next and what to remove. Sales and commission reports stay in your affiliate program's own dashboard.

  • Click counts for each affiliate listing
  • See which recommendations get attention
  • Combine with trackable short links and campaign tags
  • Commissions and sales reported by the affiliate program

Affiliate marketing for marketplace owners

Available

If you start a marketplace, affiliate listings can sit alongside your sellers' products. The owner's own house vendor can hold affiliate listings, so you can fill gaps in your catalog, launch with a fuller marketplace or earn from categories your sellers don't cover yet.

  • House vendor for the owner's own affiliate listings
  • Fill your catalog while you recruit sellers
  • Cover categories your sellers don't offer
  • No commission taken by MultiVendor on anything you earn

Grow your affiliate site with search and social

Available

Affiliate listings use the same search-friendly pages as the rest of your store, with titles, descriptions, structured data and sitemaps. Share them with AI-written social captions, trackable short links and QR codes, so you can see which channels send buyers your way.

  • SEO-friendly product and category pages
  • Over 800 categories, each with its own page
  • AI social captions and hashtags
  • Trackable short links with campaign tags and QR codes

For every type of store

How affiliate marketing works when you sell merchandise, digital downloads, online courses or online events.

Merchandise

Merchandise is the natural home for affiliate products: gadgets, home goods, outdoor gear, books and more from programs like Amazon Associates and eBay Partner Network. You can recommend products that complement your own range, such as tools that go with your handmade kits.

Sell merchandise →

Digital downloads

Pair your digital downloads with affiliate recommendations. A photography preset pack can sit next to the camera gear you use, or a planner template next to the stationery you recommend, so every listing helps the buyer and can earn you a commission.

Sell digital downloads →

Online events

Workshops and seminars often need supplies or reading. List the recommended materials as affiliate products next to your event, and travel-related programs such as Booking.com (in beta) can help attendees of in-person events.

Host online events →

Online courses

Course creators often recommend books, equipment and software to their learners. Add those as affiliate listings in your store, so learners can find the exact items you mention in your lessons.

Sell online courses →

Get the most out of it

Only recommend what you trust

Your audience follows your advice because they trust it. Recommend products you have used or researched, and say why you chose them.

Write your own descriptions

Explain who the product is for, what problem it solves and how it compares. Original, helpful writing is better for buyers and for search.

Follow each program's rules

Every affiliate program has its own terms for links, disclosures and promotion. Read them, and keep your listings within those rules.

Use click counts to focus

Look at which listings get clicks and build around them: feature them, write related content and remove recommendations nobody uses.
