Most online marketplaces earn by taking a percentage of every sale. That sounds small at the start, but it grows with you: the more you sell, the more you hand over. Add listing fees, payment surcharges and promotion fees, and a large slice of every order never reaches you.
MultiVendor works the other way around. We are software, not a middleman. You pay one flat monthly subscription for the tools — your store or marketplace, hosting, design, marketing and seller management — and we take nothing from your sales. Not on merchandise, not on digital downloads, not on courses and not on event tickets.
That makes your costs predictable. You know what the software costs before the month starts, whether you sell ten orders or ten thousand. Every extra sale improves your margin instead of increasing your fees.
How it works
- 1
Pick your plan
Start with a free draft to design and preview. When you're ready to go live, choose a flat monthly plan — the price doesn't change with your sales.
- 2
Connect your own payments
Each seller connects their own Stripe or PayPal account, so buyer payments land directly with the seller.
- 3
Sell and keep your margin
Set your own prices, options and discounts. MultiVendor never deducts a commission or holds your money.
- 4
Grow without a growing bill
Add more products, sellers and departments. Your software cost stays flat while your revenue grows.
Everything included
What "no commission" really means
No commission means MultiVendor takes no percentage of any order placed in your store or marketplace. There are no per-listing fees, no fees for adding products and no surprise charges for being successful. You pay for the software on a flat monthly basis — that's the whole relationship.
- No commission on merchandise, digital downloads, courses or event tickets
- No listing fees and no fee per product
- No hidden fees or surprise line items
- One flat monthly subscription you can see in advance
- Free draft to design and preview before you subscribe
- A missed payment never deletes your business
Where your money goes
Buyers pay sellers directly through each seller's own Stripe or PayPal account. MultiVendor never holds funds, never delays payouts and is never in the middle of the payment. Your payment provider charges its own standard processing fees, which you see in your own Stripe or PayPal dashboard — those go to the provider, not to us.
- Payouts follow your own provider's schedule
- Refunds handled in your own provider account
- No money held in a platform balance
- Your customer relationship stays yours
Commission vs. flat fee: the maths
With a commission, your fee rises with every sale. With a flat fee, your cost per order falls as you grow. If you sell a $99 course, a commission platform keeps part of every enrollment; on MultiVendor the full price goes to you, less only your payment provider's processing fee. The higher your prices and the more you sell, the bigger the difference becomes.
- Commission: cost grows with every order
- Flat fee: cost per order shrinks as you sell more
- Higher-priced items (courses, events, premium merchandise) benefit most
- Predictable budgeting, month after month
Your profit potential
You set your own prices, keep your margins and decide how you grow. For store owners, every sale goes to you, minus only your payment provider's fees. For marketplace owners, it means running your own platform with your own brand and sellers, and planning how your marketplace earns, instead of paying a share of every transaction to someone else.
- Set your own prices and discounts
- Add higher-value options — bigger sizes, bundles, commercial licenses
- Sell across four departments: merchandise, digital downloads, courses and events
- Earn extra from affiliate links you add
For marketplace owners
Partly availableIf you run a multi-vendor marketplace, your sellers connect their own payment accounts and get paid directly by their buyers. You decide your own business model for your marketplace. Built-in tools for owners to bill their sellers — such as seller subscriptions — are planned.
For every type of store
How no commission works when you sell merchandise, digital downloads, online courses or online events.
Merchandise
Sell clothing, handmade goods, collectibles or refurbished items and keep the full price of every order. Options such as larger sizes or premium colours can add to the price — and that extra stays with you too.
Sell merchandise →Digital downloads
Digital products have almost no cost per sale, so a commission is often the biggest expense. Without one, every e-book, template, preset or sample pack you sell is close to pure margin.
Sell digital downloads →Online events
Webinars, workshops and seminars can sell many tickets in a short time. A flat fee means a sold-out event doesn't come with a bigger platform bill.
Host online events →Online courses
Courses are high-value products. On a $150 course, a commission would take a meaningful amount from every enrollment. With MultiVendor the full course price goes to you, less only payment processing.
Sell online courses →Get the most out of it
Price for value, not for fees
Without a commission to cover, you can price competitively or keep a healthier margin. Decide based on your costs and your customers, not on platform fees.
Use options to raise order value
Offer larger sizes, bundles or commercial licenses as options that add to the price. Every extra dollar stays with you.
Mix departments
Pair a product with a digital guide, or a course with a live Q&A event. More ways to buy means more revenue on the same flat fee.
Know your provider fees
Check your Stripe or PayPal pricing so you know your real cost per order — it's the only per-sale fee you'll pay.
