About webinars

A webinar is a scheduled online session where one or more presenters walk an audience through a topic, usually with slides, a screen share or a live demo, followed by questions from attendees. Unlike a recorded video, it happens at a set time, so you can ask the presenter something and hear the answer in the same session. Most webinars run between a lunch break and an afternoon in length, and many are designed for people who want a focused update without traveling anywhere.

On MultiVendor Market you'll find webinars from independent hosts: consultants, trainers, agencies, practitioners and small companies. Topics range from business strategy and software tutorials to marketing tactics, personal finance education, wellness habits and industry briefings. Some are free introductions to a host's work; others are paid sessions with deeper content and more time for questions.

Each webinar listing shows the date, the time zone it's scheduled in and whether there's limited capacity. When you register, the host's online meeting link is sent to you, and you can expect reminder emails before the start. Hosts use their own meeting or streaming tool, so the joining experience depends on the platform they've chosen.

Choosing a webinar worth your time

  • Read the agenda, not just the title — a good listing says what you'll learn, what's demonstrated and how much time is set aside for questions.
  • Check the time zone on the listing and convert it to your local time before registering, especially for sessions hosted in another country.
  • Look at who's presenting: their role, their experience with the topic and whether they've published other events or work you can look at.
  • If you can't attend live, check whether the host says a replay will be shared with registered attendees — not every webinar offers one.
  • Note which meeting tool the host uses so you can test your audio, camera and browser before the session starts.
  • Message the host with questions about level, prerequisites or accessibility before you sign up.

Questions about webinars

How do I join a webinar after registering?

The host's online meeting link is sent to registered attendees. Keep an eye on your inbox, including the reminder emails sent before the start, and open the link a few minutes early to check your audio.

What time does the webinar start where I live?

Every listing shows the date and the time zone the host scheduled it in. Convert that to your local time, and double-check around daylight-saving changes, which can shift the offset for a week or two.

Will there be a recording if I miss it?

That's up to each host. Some share a replay with everyone who registered, others keep the session live-only. If it matters to you, check the listing or message the host before you register.

What happens if the webinar is full?

When a host sets a capacity limit and it's reached, you can join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, the waitlist moves automatically and you'll be notified.
