About games & digital game assets

This category serves two groups: players looking for independent downloadable games and authorized add-ons, and developers looking for assets that speed up building their own games. Every listing is a file download from the creator who made it or holds the rights to sell it.

For developers, the range covers 2D sprites and tilesets, 3D characters and environment props, PBR textures and materials, sound effects and music loops, UI kits, project templates and tools for common engines. For players and game masters, it includes original indie games, printable and virtual tabletop maps, and add-ons such as mods, campaigns and scenario packs created within a game's published rules for fan content.

Before buying, check the file formats and which engines or software versions an asset was built for, preview images, video or audio samples, and above all the license. Asset licenses usually say whether you can ship the asset inside a commercial game and forbid redistributing the raw files. Sellers may only offer original or properly licensed work; ripped assets, cracks, cheats and game keys are not allowed.

Buying games and game assets

  • Check formats and engine compatibility, including the engine version an asset or template was built in.
  • Watch preview videos or listen to audio samples before buying.
  • Read the license: can you use the asset in a commercial game, and in how many projects?
  • For downloadable games, check the operating system and system requirements.
  • Add-ons should state the base game and version they work with and that they follow that game's fan-content rules.

Questions about games & digital game assets

Can I use purchased assets in a game I sell?

Most asset licenses allow use inside a commercial game but not reselling or sharing the raw files. Some sellers offer standard and extended licenses; check the terms on each listing.

Will an asset work in my engine?

Common formats like FBX, PNG and WAV import into most engines. Templates and engine-specific packages need the right engine and version, which the listing should state.

Are add-ons official?

No. Authorized add-ons are fan or third-party creations made within the original game's published content rules. They aren't endorsed by the game's publisher unless the listing clearly says so.

How do I get my download?

Files are available to download after purchase, typically as a zip archive.
