Personalized creations are made to order with details you supply: a name, monogram, date, message, photo or design. Common examples include engraved cutting boards and jewelry, embroidered blankets and towels, illustrated family and pet portraits, custom wedding signs, and personalized ornaments.
Because each item is made for one person, the ordering process includes an extra step: you provide the personalization, and many makers send a digital proof for approval before production. That is also why personalized items usually cannot be returned unless there is a fault.
Timing matters. Custom work takes longer than ready-made items, so check production time as well as shipping time for weddings, birthdays and holidays.
