Digital magazines on MultiVendor Market are single issues and special editions from independent publishers: literary and art journals, photography and design magazines, hobby and craft publications, local and community magazines, music and culture zines, and niche trade publications. Many are designed for print and released digitally too, so you get the full editorial layout.
Issues are almost always PDF to preserve spreads, typography and photography. Some publishers offer back issues individually or bundled into a year's collection, and some include extras such as posters, patterns or audio.
Check the issue number and date, the page count and whether the PDF is optimized for tablet reading or for printing. The license is typically personal reading; sharing the file with others usually isn't allowed.
Buying a digital magazine issue
- Check the issue number, edition and date so you get the one you want.
- Preview a spread to see how the layout reads on your screen size.
- Look for back-issue bundles if you want to catch up on a series.
- Note whether the PDF uses single pages or two-page spreads — spreads read better on larger screens.
- Respect the personal-reading license and buy additional copies for others.
