About animations

Animations in this category are finished or near-finished animated clips you can drop into a project: a character waving, an animated icon set for an app, a looping 3D object, an explainer scene showing a process, or a stylized hand-drawn sequence. They're used by video editors, educators, marketers and app developers who need motion without a full animation pipeline.

Formats depend on the use. Video editors want clips with transparency, such as ProRes 4444 or PNG sequences; web and app developers often want lightweight formats like animated SVG, GIF, WebM or JSON-based animation files; and 3D users may want the source scene to re-render. Some sellers provide editable project files alongside rendered clips.

Check whether the animation has a transparent background, whether it loops seamlessly, and whether colors or text can be changed. As with all downloads, read the license — especially if the animation will appear in an app or product you sell.

Choosing animations for your project

  • Check for an alpha channel or transparent background if you'll place the animation over other footage.
  • Pick formats that suit your platform: video codecs for editing, lightweight formats for web and apps.
  • Ask whether source or project files are included so you can change colors, timing or text.
  • Look for a looping preview if the animation needs to repeat seamlessly.
  • Confirm the license covers use inside apps, games or products for resale, not just videos.

Questions about animations

Can I change the colors of an animation?

If the seller includes editable project or source files, usually yes. Rendered clips alone are harder to recolor, so check what's included.

Which animation formats work on websites?

Lightweight formats such as animated SVG, WebM, GIF or JSON-based animation files are common for web. The listing should say which formats are included.

Can I use an animation in a mobile app I sell?

That depends on the license. Some licenses cover videos only, while others allow use in apps and software. Check the terms or ask the seller.
